This begins the online workshop series: ComplexAbility Level 1, Foundations (beta). Here, as a group in a fun interactive way, we learn the principles of this relationship-building and communication approach from a work/career/business goal-oriented perspective. The objective is to begin to learn this new interpersonal skill set, practice and use the application for training and as an enabling tool.

In this ongoing Level 2 class, we deepen our understanding and expand our knowledge of relationship dynamics, expand the skill sets employing the method and technology, and practice the techniques.

Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1

In this presentation, Ary will demo ComplexAbility’s relationship technology and introduce rarely utilized but key guiding principles of relationships and communications. During this presentation, we will go through real life scenarios with lots of audience participation and engagement. The evening should prove to be a fun and interesting learning experience about human dynamics, human-technology collaboration, and the benefits of pro-actively empowering both.

This workshop introduces and focuses on the same basic interpersonal dynamics and relationship principles that make ComplexAbility a collaboration effectiveness game-changing toolset -- with the added twist of looking at complex relationships, not between people, but between people and interactive technology!.

This workshop is based on Ary Ziv's PhD dissertation research and theory on unconscious feeling and relational phenomena that defines our digital lives. The dissertation itself is a very far cry from "user-friendly", therefore, this workshop introduces the multidisciplinary ideas in plain and intuitive concepts. You will never think about digital technology the same again -- both in yours and your family's day-to-day personal lives and professionally, every time digital products and services come into play. Through this deeply-psychological and, at the same time, practical framework, whether you design or build digital technology, implement or utilize, your perspective will expand into new understanding about what's happening as our feelings become increasingly entrenched with and bonded to digital interactive technology. 

This workshop is broken out into three parts:

In the first segment, the concept of psychological value is introduced as context for interpersonal, relational, and conscious-unconscious psychological understanding of interactions between people and algorithms.

In the second segment, a new perspective is built around understanding the subtle but extremely impactful dynamics characterizing human-digital technology interactive relationships. What makes them so powerful and seemingly inescapable? From a deeply psychological perspective, what makes them tremendously advantageous and beneficial and, at the same time, how are they most dangerous?

The third segment focuses on relevant application of this knowledge/insights for practical purposes, in day to day live and professionally. Participants practice employing new understanding in use cases and relevant examples.

A ComplexAbility foundations workshop introduces and focuses on the same basic interpersonal dynamics and relationship principles that make ComplexAbility a collaboration effectiveness game-changing toolset. This foundation course is broken out into three parts.

• In the first segment, the ComplexAbility concepts are introduced in the context of interpersonal, relational, and conscious-unconscious psychological understanding

• In the second segment, a framework built around rapidly understanding subtle but extremely impactful dynamics within specific relationships. The framework helps identify interpersonal issues that are obstacles to collaboration and provides a roadmap for corrective actions.

• The third segment focuses on real world application and practice of the ComplexAbility approach. The long anticipated CA Interpersonal Relationships Insights and Recommendation Application will be introduced and demo'ed through use cases and participants hands-on input and interaction. The CA application will serve as a vehicle for learning and practice using the ComplexAbility relationship model and as a first glance at this relationship game-changing digital tool.

In this talk, designing for human value experiences will be explored as the basis for both building collaborative interactive technology and achieving market adoption.

Designing Value Interfaces  Past Event Details

There are tremendous untapped opportunities for designing technology interfaces that are by leaps and bounds more connected to human experiences than most in the mainstream today.  These represent a technology design paradigm shift from “user interfaces” to “value interfaces.”  In this talk, designing for human value experiences will be explored as the basis for both building collaborative interactive technology and achieving market adoption.
