Introduction to An Other-Focused Approach
This one hour information session provides an overview of Ary's full-length workshop on ComplexAbility foundations for optimizing collaborations with a psychology-rooted, "other-focused" framework and approach.
ComplexAbility Foundations
Three ComplexAbility Foundations workshops:
- Interpersonal Dynamics in Executive, Team, and Multi-Party Collaboration for Complex Sales, Deal Making, and Promotion of positive Customer/Constituency Experiences
- Interpersonal Dynamics, Relationships and Relatedness in Personal Lives
- Feeling Experiences as Guide to Technology Design, Adoption, and Marketing
Each Foundations workshop introduces and focuses on the same basic interpersonal dynamics and relationship principles. These make ComplexAbility a collaboration effectiveness game-changing toolset. This foundations, all-day workshop is broken out into three parts.
- In the first segment, the ComplexAbility concepts are introduced in the context of interpersonal, relational, and conscious-unconscious psychological understanding
- In the second segment, a framework built around rapidly understanding subtle but extremely impactful dynamics within specific relationships. The framework help identify interpersonal issues that are obstacles to collaboration and provides roadmap for corrective actions.
- The third segment relates to the specific workshop’s the application and practice of the ComplexAbility approach, for instance, in the context of work/vocation, personal relationships or related to relationships through and with digital technology. In this segment, participants practice the techniques and apply the model in a supportive interactive atmosphere through mock, reflective, feedback-oriented trial-and-error skill building exercises. These are based on participants’ shared real-life relational challenges and contexts.
Each Foundations workshop can be taken separately and more than one can be taking as well in any order. Taken sequentially, can provide an opportunity for review, while, at the same time, focusing on another context in which to apply the approach and techniques.
