Human-Digital Technology Interactions
Ary has developed a unique expertise in the complexity resulting from the increasing reliance on digital technology and digitally-mediated interactions. His 2014 doctoral dissertation (abstract) explores human-digital technology interactions, specifically exploring unconscious phenomena between people and algorithmic interactivity. Informed by this research, has informed his approach to technology development in the service of human-digital technology collaboration.
Technology
Intrigued by digital innovation and its potential to improve decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational effectiveness, Ary entered the field of software/Internet and database development in the mid-90′s and, later, expanded his work to include building and managing business intelligence systems. In the last ten years, through his consulting firm, Datagrasp, Inc., Ary has been involved in development, implementation and strategy as developer, team leader, project manager, business development lead, and product strategist. Areas of work included: healthcare, real estate, education/not-for-profit, finance, insurance, workforce/labor organization, and leadership decision-making systems. His technology consulting work now focuses on designing and building data-oriented applications and developing organizational/business strategies for client engagement and marketing.
